If you’ve been chatting in our online bingo rooms then you’ve probably been having a whale of a time. There are a few things that you should know about doing so, here are our do’s and don’ts.
Do: Use the Lingo
You’ll most likely notice that other roomies use a specific set of lingo. This can be used to make chatting more fun and easier to do. These are some of the most common ones that you’ll find:
- WTG – Way to Go – Used to congratulate other players that win.
- BRB – Be Right Back – If you’re popping off to do something for a few minutes then you can use this one.
- G2G – Got to Go – If you’re going offline and want to say a quick bye to the other roomies then use this one.
There are loads of these terms in use around the bingo halls, both online and offline. Experiment with using them and find out if they make your bingo experience better.
Do: Be Nice to Other Players
Here at Lucky Cow Bingo, we like to make sure that all of our players are having a good time. That means our chat hosts watch over the chat rooms to ensure that’s what is happening. They’ll be picking out the roomies that are naughty and leaving the nice ones.
Just being polite to other roomies and our hosts will mean that you can continue to play. This ensures that you won’t have to be warned about this aspect of playing.
Don’t: Discuss Personal Information
We’re sure that all of our roomies are great but you have to remember that the internet can be a scary place. You don’t want someone to find out where you live, your password or your payment details. That’s why we ask that you don’t give out your personal information, as we want you to stay safe online.
Make sure you have a secure password that another roomie can’t guess. For example, if you use the name of a pet and then talk about them in the chat, another player could potentially gain access to your account. Just make sure you mix up your password with symbols and numbers to make it more secure.

Don’t: Be a Sore Loser
We want to create a positive atmosphere for players on our site, so we try to keep things happy and polite. This includes making sure that our players aren’t sore losers or harassing winners. It can be frustrating not to win in a room, but if you congratulate other winners and have a good time then it’s not so bad.
If you see any behaviour in our rooms that doesn’t follow the guidelines then just get in touch with a host and they’ll sort it out.
